Season two of the thriller picks up the story three years later and starts on Paramount+ this week
The Ex-Wife is back after a three-year absence for a second season of the tense thriller on Paramount+.
Following the dramatic finale of season one, Tasha (Celine Buckens) is now on the run with her daughter Emily, living off-grid in Cyprus doing cleaning jobs and struggling to survive.
In London, Jack’s ex-wife Jen has moved on with her life and is engaged to a new man in Connor.
She is still hiding the fact of Emily’s faked death.

But when Jack is suddenly released from prison, he is on a quest for answers which leads him to Cyprus.
Based on the book by Jess Ryder, season two asks the questions who can each of them really trust, can anyone truly change, and how far will a parent go to protect their child?

When is The Ex-Wife season 2 out and how can I watch in the UK?
The Ex-Wife returns to Paramount+ for season two on Thursday 10 April, with all four episodes of the mini-series available to stream.
Season one, which was originally released in October 2022, is also available to watch.
But viewers will need a subscription to Paramount+, which starts from £4.99 a month. There is a seven-day free trial available.
Who is in the cast of The Ex-Wife season 2?
Celine Buckens

Celine Buckens leads the cast once again as Tasha, who has now escaped to Cyprus with her young daughter Emily.
British-Belgian actress Buckens, 28, rose to fame in the 2011 film War Horse and has since gone on to appear in the film The Good Liar.
She was nominated for a Bafta for her role in the television series Showtrial and has starred in Free Rein, Warrior, The Castaways and Suspect.
Tom Mison

Tom Mison plays Jack, who has been released from prison after the car crash and appears to be a changed man, grieving the death of his daughter and searching for redemption from his ex-wife Jen.
British actor Mison, 42, has appeared in films such as One Day, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and The Riot Club.
On television, he has had leading roles in Sleepy Hollow, Watchmen, Four Weddings and a Funeral and See.
Katie McGrat

Katie McGrath has taken over the role of Jen, Jack’s ex-wife, for season two.
Irish actress McGrath, 42, is best-known for playing Morgana Pendragon in the BBC one series Merlin and Lucy Westenra in the series Dracula.
She has also appeared in the historical drama written and directed by Madonna W.E. and Jurassic World.
Jordan Stephens

Jordan Stephens stars as Sam, Tasha’s former boyfriend and friend.
Stephens, 33, is a rapper and actor who was one half of the band Rizzle Kicks before launching a solo career.
As an actor, he has appeared as Corporal Tonc in Rogue One, Rafe in Catastrophe and in the Netflix series Feel Good.
